This one was prompted by the awful old comic Jim Davidson, and the terrible joke he made about Rastafarian’s driving B.M.W’s, because they thought it stood for Bob Marley and the Wailers

( That was acceptable television in the 1980s ), but it gave me an idea…..a little bit of light hearted nonsense to hopefully put a smile on your face, happy Monday 😁😁

Tyson Fury drives a Ferrari,

One of the trappings of success,

Prince Harry has downsized to a Renault Meghane’

But Meghan wants an Austin Princess

Torvill and Dean can often be seen

driving a Chevrolet Camero,

Cruising around with the stereo up loud,

blasting out Ravel’s Bolero.

When my auntie Doris, drove her half timbered Morris,

She would sing old Bing Crosby songs,

Like, nothing could be finer, than to be in a Morris minor,

As we happily cruised along .

I saw Minnie Driver in a mini cooper,

sitting in the passenger seat,

Jilly Cooper was the mini driver,

and she was parking at the end of my street.

Tommy Cooper drove his new mini Cooper,

While sitting in the back, just for fun,

Where as Carol Vorderman drives an old Ford Kuga,

and it’s definitely had a bit of work done .

Buzz Aldrin drives a Renault Espace,..

quite fitting if you ask me,

like Patrick Moore the famous astrologer

who drives Ford Galaxy

David Jason can often be seen,

In his trusty old reliant robin,

and Patsy Kensit drives a white Ford transit,

when she goes out and about odd jobbing.

Eddie Izzard is viewed as a leading light

By the LGBTQ+ community,

nowadays she prefers the name Suzy,

and drives a rainbow coloured MGB GT.

Lester Piggot drives a Ford Mustang,

When he isn’t riding a horse

And Tiger Woods drives a VW golf,

When he goes to his local golf course.

Donald Trump received a record fine,.

For his latest misdemeanour,

Rumour has it that he was in an Escort…

or was it an old Cortina.

Daimler seems to be a popular model,

If you’re a city boy or a banker,

Jim Davidson drives a BMW,

It stands for Big Mouth W***** ( I’ll let you fill in the blanks)

just some of the stars and some of their cars,

I wasn’t sure how to bring this poem to an end,

So I think I’ll finish with Jeremy Clarkson,

Because he….drives …me….. round the bend
