Sardines

Now out, far away in the deep blue sea

I sat on the side of a boat feeling carefree

My toes in the water

My face splashed with salt water

There was a shining , a swimming about

In the water a silver army dancing

And swirling of that I had no doubt

I put out my rod

And caught two ,oh my god!

There were thousands in the sea

Don’t think they will miss two

Dribbled in oil, What a tasty scene

Laid on my lettuce two shiny sardines !
