Sands of Time

Sands of Time

Who else has trodden

Along this shore?

Footprints still to come

Those gone before

Fleeting impressions

Upon the sand

One moment in time

A speck on land

Unerring the tides

And time erase

Lost in the grey sea

The faceless haze

For life continues

Like sand in glass

Always slipping

Slipping fast

Thoroughly enjoyed this, the opening line hooked me, great rhythm , rolls like a the tides on an almost flat beach. Cheers mate!

Thanks Nigel. The answer to the question posed in the first two lines, going by the photo is clearly a seagull!
