the idea of the telephone
With which they couldn’t roam
they would have to stay at home
this would be such a catastrophe
For the people of the world today

Without an OLED display
to see who it is who’s calling
Would be certainly appalling
For the people of the world today

Without the latest camera
that takes photos in the dark
and video record in super slow motion
Would be the cause of such a commotion
For the people of the world today
the idea of a telephone
Which can’t be used like a credit card
for this it would be discarded
For the people of the world today
the idea of a telephone
That can only be used plugged into socket
With no voice recognition
Or speed dialling option
No choice of a ringtone
Or text message alert
Just a ring full of numbers
And finger nail dirt
