Postbox For Sale

I think it won’t be long now.

Until they’ll put them up for sale.

There’s something new much faster,

than what we now call snail mail.

There used to be a phone box,

at the end of every street.

The convenience of mobile phones,

has made them obsolete.

An email is much faster,

and never goes on strike.

An email costs you nothing,

and travels at the speed of light.

So soon there’ll be an empty spot,

next to where the phone box stood.

It won’t take long they’ll be forgotten,

sometimes technology can be so rotten.
