October Challenge Sixpence

Can you turn on a sixpence

Can you stand on a penny

Can you sit on a pound coins

Without feeling any

Can you stand on one foot

Can you turn your head fast

Can you close your eyes shut

And stay upright when asked

Well if the drugs work well

And I've had a good sleep

If there's no stress today

I could not turn but leap.

I'm no footballer, I confess

Nor acrobat or ballerina

But I doubt they could do it

Or find someone keener.

As long as I can turn in my bed

Get up in the morning

And walk upright and smile

I'll leave tuning on a sixpence for another little while.
