New Beginnings

“Before people can begin something new, they have to end what used to be and unlearn the old way”. William Bridges

In the beginning, life is good.

One foot follows another

with purpose.

But the ending is familiar and

comfort and apathy distract me

from the perpetual need for change.

In the lawless land

between ending and beginning there lies

a pandemonia of possibilities.

Shall I begin?

Bravo! That's a poem, a Vignette. A good Vignette is like a western haiku, and that's a good Vignette.

Lots of lovely alliteration and my life is definitely a pandemonium of possibilities. Love it.
