Mr T Fumblefingers
I had a light bulb moment
It was a smashing time
Fumblefingers was back
Parkinson’s partner in crime
How many men will it take is?
Not the right question
How many bulbs will I break is?
Another suggestion
Surprise he yells
To announce presence the fiendish fumbler
Smash another glass falls
Maybe it was a tumbler
Formally known as
Mr T Fumblefinger
Introduces shakes hands
And then sometimes linger
He is Tremble by name
He trembles by nature
He spills your cup of T
Sooner or later
Broken crockery
He leaves on your plate
Cup half full or
Half empty? Is your fate.
But it is upto you
It is your choice
He can but listen
If you use your voice
Sweep up the damage
He leaves in his wake
You are the one thing
He cannot break
Tremble Fumblefingers
Is just a clown
Your beautiful smile inside
Worth more than his frown.
His beautiful smile is
a frown upside down
Nice one Jon
A classic Best piece!, nice , easy read, good rhyme, all covering heartfelt emotion with a drizzle of humour, thank you Jon.
A cracking poem . . (well, somebody had to say it). Keep smiling!
