Mother Earth - Are You Lonely?

Mother Earth

When you listen

Can you hear Pluto sing?

Or Venus speak sweet poetry - proclaim her love

in a meteor shower soliloquy.

Mother Earth

When you reach-out,

Seek out the brightest stars,

Do you hear their refrain - joyous melody,

calling, distant, descant harmony?

Mother Earth

When you look

Can you see heaven in the dark?

Do all the stars align to illuminate a path,

a holy light assembly.

Mother Earth

Are you lonely?

Some times I think you must be.

Suspended in space - one small planet

in a much bigger galaxy.
