Not underwear

Not sleepwear

Not cotton jim-jams, not a pair

No corded waist and classic stripe

like Dad and Grandpa used to wear

To keep their bedtime true to type

But where to wear this kind of ware?

Are they for wearing in your lounge

or there for lounging anywhere?

Pyjamas pose as partywear

for airport lounge and everywhere

For love affair or evening prayer

At school-gate, shop and village square

A costume change is in the air
