Her mouth

Words come easily

From my lady’s mouth

She tells it straight

She tells it true

From behind a steering wheel

She can turn the air blue

Her words are strong

And usually right

I will always avoid a vocal fight

But there’s caring and compassionate words too

From the heart

Funny with laughter and smiles

From her lips there is words of love

Not only spoken

But shared in a kiss

There is sincerity here but with a touch of playfulness a good combination

This is an intricate poem of true love lying under the veneer of ordinary, it is within these 'ordinary' moments, the day to day things, that I hold dearest, thank you Darrell.
