Forget me knots

Forget me knots

Forget me knots unravel in your mind

Fates past tapestries lose their thread

Tongue tied by the loss of a

Familiarity held in contempt

Refuses to testify the identity

Of the face mirrored without reflection

A fog grows in the space where

Once recollection did reside

Amongst forget me nots former blooms

Yet as you search for a hint of history

With anxiety weighing heavy on your browse

Selfless grows back to self and flowers anew
