         Fading Nurse..

A kind hearted energetic nurse

Well known for her passion of caring

Who always carries Pleasant smiling face

Who cares with love , empathy , confidence

Whom filled with tKindness and compassion.

She was the light for the blind

Hand for the needy

Voice for the vulnerable

Ears for the deaf And

Who always being positive

Her pleasant face is disappearing

Can’t find her shiny smile

She is being misunderstood for

Having staring and angry look

Which takes away her trademark

Her voice became softer

Over the phone she hears

I can’t hear you!!! Be louder

Her little heart feels bad and sad

Makes her worried and gloomy

She wants to run around

And sort her patients out

Doesn’t like to run behind

Hey do you know one thing

She is now a slow angel

Her hands are shaky but

She still good in being a vampire

To do bloods and cannulas

Which she is proud of herself

A skill she acquired by practicing

The marvellous angel of era

Known well for her documentation

Who is struggling to write

Limbing and dragging her legs

Going home late from work

What’s happening little angel?

The nurse we met in NHS 5 years ago

Is fading away and away

Do you know why?

Do you want to know why?

Her unexpected friend The Parkinson’s

Started to play upon her you know

Even though she slowed down

Her mind and spirit is running around

Remains with  hope and optimism

Woking with PD is not easy

Challenges, struggles, worries

Frustrations, limitations and demands

But never give up your determination

Be resilient, self confident and active

. There's a coincidence Tincy, I've just posted one myself, before I read yours, with the same sentiment. Positivity, and so say all of us. Thank you and keep it up

Well done Tincy continuing to work. I found my PD improved without the stress of work but I loved it and miss the team and the patients.

This moved me Tincy, I felt your frustration and your pain but also your spirit and determination, don’t let Parky take those. 💕
