Chappie

Chap on the door

down the stair

two at a time,

hair streaming

screaming

One, two,

buckle my shoe

shoe

Three four,

out the back door

Sunlight glaring

lost bearing

Washing flapping.

wrapping

body ducking

peg snapping,

Old biddie

pouting,

shouting

swearing, scaring

Running, running, running

gunning,

bumping,

over the wall,

blood brazen

adrenaline spunky, monkey,

junky

junky

junkies.

Uncle Martin's nailed it Ali, I applaud a change of style, experimental, just different, kind of keeps the 'Gentle Madness' on tick over.

Wow. Such energy in these words. conjuring up a chaos filled race for life. Very different and interesting

To chap on the door means to knock and Chappie is a game of knocking on doors and running away. My cousins used to play it in my Gran’s tenement.
