A feast for your eyes and music to your ears
The carousel from a by gone era
Children and parents eager to ride
Hypnotised by, the horses that glide
Saddles of leather
mane’s of real hair
Hand carved and painted
So colourful and bright
A Victorian gem, a beautiful sight
Listen to the music of the merry go round
Cheerfully creepy quiet eerie a sound
A voice is heard calling to hold on tight
Then a jolt as the operator releases the brake
Their off
Slowly at first
Then gaining momentum with every turn
Soon racing forward and up and down
Hands gripping tightly on twisted brass poles
Laughter and smiles from the fare paying public
As they ride the horses of the old Carousel
You've channeled, tuned in, echoed the original thought that gave birth to this post before. Thank you Mr .T
