Be my Valentine.

Been away for a while hope you’re all doing okay….here is a topical one.

There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you,

In the quest to make you mine,

I would never be late if we were on a date,

I’d always be on time.

No mountain would be too tall to climb,

No road too long to drive,

I’d even tackle the rush-hour traffic ,

On the dreaded M25.

I would do anything you ask me to,

I would even commit a crime,

I would park on double yellow lines for you,

and risk a hefty fine .

I would take you out to be wined and dined,

If that was your desire,

or stay at home and watch TV

or read a book beside the fire.

I’d listen to Bob Dylan all of the time,

If that’s what you wanted to do,

and never comment on his nasal whine,

I’d do this just for you .

I’d wear socks and sandals in the summer time,

if you asked me to,

I would even drink a pint of lager and lime… in public,

there is nothing I wouldn’t do .

I would count all the stars in the sky for you,

I would count them one at a time,

I’d walk across Niagara Falls for you,

did I mention I’m a funambulist in my spare time?

I would tow the line if you were mine,

you’re gentle, intelligent, loving and kind,

a girl like you is hard to find,

you are wonderful, I think you’re divine,

I can’t seem to get you out of my mind,

I’d love you until the end of time,

I would even take a genuine interest

If you talked about star signs,

you don’t have to answer right now just take your time,

I mean,

I don’t want to come across as needy or anything,

but , please,

will you be my valentine?.

No?.,

Ok,

well in that case I shall just take the basic t.v. package and I will not be upgrading my internet,  thank you very much Sharon !!
