Open Mic Poetry

Our Open Mic events are free to anybody touched by Parkinson’s that writes, reads or loves poetry. By registering and attending this event, you have the opportunity to share some poetry, join our conversation or you can just sit back and listen. If you need someone to read your poetry for you please let us know and we can help.  Hosted by Martin Pickard, these events are held in English but the Zoom auto translate function will be enabled. 

If you would like an open mic slot you may submit one or two poems to martin@denton-house.com at least one day in advance please. This will reserve your slot and the poems will all be displayed onscreen during the event which helps with both accessibility and accuracy of translation .
